Chef de Partie – 4 Star Hotel, Wicklow

Salary: €36,000+ per year, depending on experience

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team of a well-established 4 star hotel in Wicklow.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated chef looking to develop their skills within a professional hotel kitchen and become part of a strong and supportive team.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running your designated section to a consistently high standard, ensuring quality, presentation and food safety are maintained at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard
• Managing your designated section during service
• Ensuring all preparation is completed efficiently and to specification
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene
• Working closely with the Sous Chef and wider kitchen team
• Assisting with stock control and minimising food waste
• Following HACCP and food safety procedures
• Supporting junior members of the kitchen team when required

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or experienced Commis Chef
• Experience within a hotel, restaurant or similar professional kitchen
• Good knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work well under pressure during busy services
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Good knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures
